COIN SETS

Every year, the Croatian National Bank issues a numismatic set of coins in circulation. The Latin version of the name of a plant or animal is given on the reverse of all the coins minted in even years, whereas the names are given in the Croatian version on the reverse of the coins minted in odd years. The appearance of the coins in the set is identical to that of the coins in circulation in the given year. The coins in the numismatic set are minted in proof technique, and the set is welded into a rectangular covering of hard plastic, dimensions 116 x 111 mm.

The designer of the commemorative 25 kuna coins in circulation within the numismatic set is a sculptor, Damir Mataušić. Kuzma Kovačić, a sculptor, is a designer of the coins in other numismatic sets.
