The banknotes are placed in a special folder, which consists of a cover and inserts of plastic sheets with interleaving. To make up the sets we have used banknotes that have never been in circulation, in perfect condition. All the banknotes in a set have the same serial letters and numbers.

In the Croatian dinar set there are 12 banknotes in all the denominations issued during the period from 1991 to 1994, to wit: 1, 5, 10, 25, 100, 500, 1000, 2000, 5000, 50000 and 100000 HRD.

In the kuna set there are the nine denominations of banknotes, to wit: the 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500 and 1000 kuna issue of 1993 and the 10 kuna issue of 1995.

Specially available from the Croatian National Bank are Croatian dinar banknotes never put into circulation, packed in the original manufacturer's packaging, 1000 banknotes in a package.

In 1994, the following denominations were released for sale: 1, 5, 10, 25, 100, 2000, 5000, 10000, 50000 and 100000 HRD of which the following denominations have remained in stock and are available for sale: 1, 5, 10, 25 and 50000 HRD.
