The 26th Olympic Games in Atlanta

"THE 26th OLYMPIC GAMES, 
ATLANTA 1996"

To commemorate the holding of the 26th Olympic Games in Atlanta, 1996, the Croatian National Bank minted commemorative 200, 150 and 100 kuna silver coins. The commemorative silver coins were issued in two different series. Each series comprises denominations of 200, 150 and 100 kuna with different motifs on  obverse and reverse. The coins were minted as proofs, and were released for sale on July 3, 1996.
Below we give a review of the amounts minted, the manner in which they are packed and the prices.

The 200 kuna and 100 kuna coins of Series I and II were designed by Kazimir Hraste, the sculptor, and the 150 kuna coins of Series I and II were designed by Damir Matausic  the sculptor.

This edition was produced by the Croatian Monetary Institute in association with the Hungarian Mint Co.Ltd., Budapest.
