In cooperation with the Croatian Monetary
Institute, the Croatian National Bank has issued, as part of a series of mini
coins, a commemorative gold coin "Lacemaking in Croatia" with the motifs of Pag
and Lepoglava lace which is a part of the Croatian cultural heritage under
UNESCO protection.
Minted in proof quality, the coin was released for sale on 2 January 2012.

The concept and design of the commemorative gold coin is by the academic sculptor Stjepan Divković.
The issue was minted by the Croatian Monetary Institute.
