"IVANA BRLIĆ MAŽURANIĆ" |
The Croatian National Bank in collaboration with Riječka banka, issued a
commemorative 200 kuna silver coin within the series "Famous
Croatian Women" in the total quantity of 2,000 items. This
edition is dedicated to Ivana Brlić-Mažuranić know in Croatian literature as the best
writerof children's books and whose works have been translated on many languages
world wide She wa also twice nominated for Nobel Prize.
This coin was minted as proof, and was released for sale on November 18, 1998.

This silver coin was designed by a sculptor Stjepan Divkovic.
The coin was minted by the Croatian Monetary Institute.
The Croatian National Bank contractually confied the promotion and sale of
this edition to Rijecka banka d.d.
