10th ANNIVERSARY OF THE CROATIAN STATE PARLIAMENT CONSTITUTION |
The
Croatian National Bank issued a commemorative 500 kuna gold coin in the total
quantity of 500 items to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the
constitution of the Croatian State Parliament, May 30, 1990 - May 30, 2000. On
May 30, 1990 following the multi-party elections in the Republic of Croatia in
spring 1990, the democratic multi-party Croatian State Parliament was
constituted as the representative body of the citizens vested with legislative
power.
Commemorative gold coins were minted as proofs and put on sale on May 22, 2000.

Kovacic, the sculptor.
The reverse of the commemorative 500 kuna gold coin was designed by Kazimir
Hraste, the sculptor.
This edition was made by the Croatian Monetary Institute.
