"100th ANNIVERSARY OF AVIATION IN CROATIA"

In cooperation with the Croatian Monetary Institute, the Croatian National Bank has issued a commemorative silver coin marking the 100th anniversary of the first airplane flight in Croatia, undertaken in a motor-driven airplane by Dragutin Novak (1892 – 1978) in Zagreb, on 22 and 23 June 1910.

The coin was minted in proof condition and was released for sale on 5 July 2010.

The concept and design of the obverse of the commemorative silver coin is by the academic sculptor Matej Pašalić. The design of the reverse of the commemorative silver coin is by the academic sculptor Stjepan Divković.
The issue was minted by the Croatian Monetary Institute. The Croatian National Bank has contractually agreed the promotion and sale of this issue with the Croatian Monetary Institute. You are kindly requested to send your order to the Institute's address stated below:
