Central bank governor in Washington

Dr. Marko Skreb, governor of the Croatian National Bank , is leaving for Washington on Tuesday, April 14, 1998 to participate in the spring meeting of the interim committee of the IMF and the World Bank. Mr. Josip Kulisic, assistant to the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Croatia is another member of the Croatian delegation to take part in the above meeting.

The governor of the Croatian National Bank will spend several days in Washington, attending the customary meeting of the constituency to which Croatia belongs, as well as the plenary session of the most important international financial institutions. Additionally, the governor will meet high officials of the IMF and the World Bank, and engage in discussions with representatives of the US Treasury and several significant commercial banks.
