CNB Council adopts monetary policy projection for the second quarter

At its session today, the Croatian National Bank Council reviewed the latest economic and monetary developments and a report on operation in 2009 and current trends in the banking system. The Council also adopted a monetary policy projection for the second quarter and endorsed a report on international reserve management for 2009.
In addition, the Council approved the decision of the Supervisory Board of Međimurska banka d.d., Čakovec to appoint Davor Vodanović Member of the Management Board, and the decision of the Supervisory Board of Primorska banka d.d., Rijeka to appoint Ante Pekić Chairman and Željka Pavić and Zdenko Šošić Members of the Management Board.
Also at this session, it was decided to include in this year's annual plan of commemorative circulation coin issue a 25 kuna circulation coin dedicated to the Annual Meeting of the EBRD Board of Governors, to be held in Zagreb in mid-May. Pursuant to today's decision, kuna and lipa coins bearing the year of mint "2010" will be put into circulation on 22 March 2010.
