From 23 March to 23 June 2013, the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb will be the venue for an exhibition of the models of Croatian currency coins submitted for the tender invited in 1993 by the Commission for Drafting a Proposal for a Monetary System Concept and the Manufacturing of the Republic of Croatia Banknotes. The exhibition to honour twentieth anniversary of the tendering for a graphic design of the Republic of Croatia currency coins has been jointly organised by the Croatian National Bank and the Archaeological Museum. The exhibition will present 109 plaster models of kuna and lipa coins designed by the following authors: Kažimir Hraste, Želimir Janeš, Kuzma Kovačić, Velibor Mačukatin, Damir Mataušić, Stipe Sikirica and Stjepan Divković.

The exhibits are part of the Croatian National Bank's collection of plaster coin models which this institution has ceded to the Archaeological Museum for exhibition, expert processing and publishing purposes, as well as for other museological activities.
