Hum and the Višnjan Observatory

The Croatian National Bank issued a numismatic set of a commemorative gold coin with the basic motif of the "Višnjan Observatory" in the 1,000 kuna denomination and a commemorative gold coin with the basic motif of "Hum" in the 1 kuna denomination, with interesting historical, scientific and cultural motifs bearing relevance for the Republic of Croatia.

The "Višnjan Observatory" commemorative gold coin is in brilliant uncirculated condition and the "Hum" commemorative gold coin is minted in uncirculated condition. The numismatic set was released for sale on 5 December 2022.

The Decision on the issue and sale of the numismatic set of commemorative gold coins "Hum and the Višnjan Observatory" was published in the Official Gazette No. 138/2022.

The design of the "Višnjan Observatory" commemorative gold coin is by the sculptor Nikola Vudrag and the design of the "Hum" commemorative gold coin is by the sculptor Ana Divković.

The numismatic coin set was minted by the Croatian Mint.
