Numismatic Sets of Commemorative 25 Kuna Circulation Coins

In 1997, the Croatian National Bank issued and put into circulation a new coin denominated at 25 kuna. The coin, intended to be issued on special occasions, has the features of a commemorative circulation coin, with the motif on the obverse related to the occasion marked.

Shaped as a regular dodecagon, the commemorative 25 kuna circulation coin is bimetallic (with the core exhibiting gold and the ring silver lustre).

During 1997, the Croatian National Bank released three different issues of the commemorative 25 kuna circulation coin, which were combined in a numismatic set. Shown in the table below are the number of items issued and packaging.

The Decision on the issue of the numismatic set of commemorative 25 kuna circulation coins with mint year "1997" was published in the Official Gazette No. 134/1997.

In 1998, 1999 and 2000, the Croatian National Bank released another three different issues of the commemorative 25 kuna circulation coin, which were combined in a numismatic set. Shown in the table below are the number of items issued and packaging.

In the period from 2002 to 2010, the Croatian National Bank released three different issues of the commemorative 25 kuna circulation coin, which were combined in a numismatic set. Shown in the table below are the number of items issued and packaging.

In 2013, the Croatian National Bank released a numismatic set comprising one previous and two new issues of the commemorative 25 kuna circulation coin. Shown in the table below are the number of items issued and packaging.

The design of the commemorative 25 kuna circulation coin is by the academic sculptor Damir Mataušić.

The numismatic coin sets were minted by the Croatian Mint.
