Numismatic issues

Published: 18/6/2015 Modified: 30/1/2016
The Croatian National Bank has produced and released for sale collectors' sets of banknotes and coins and commemorative gold and silver coins.

The Croatian dinar and Croatian kuna banknote sets are made up of banknotes that have never been in circulation and are in perfect condition. All the banknotes in a set have the same serial letters and numbers.

Numismatic sets of circulation coins are issued every year and the coins from the set are identical in appearance to the coins released into circulation in the current year. The coins in numismatic sets are in brilliant uncirculated condition.

Commemorative gold and silver coins are issued and released for sale on jubilee occasions to mark historical, scientific and cultural events significant for Croatia and/or for the world.

Customers may closely examine all the issues of the banknote sets or commemorative coin sets, receive any additional information and make a purchase at the sales outlets of the Croatian National Bank or the Croatian Monetary Institute.
