The Croatian National Bank has produced and released for sale collectors' sets of Croatian dinar and kuna banknotes and coins.
The banknotes are placed in special folders consisting of covers and plastic sheet inserts with interleaving. The banknotes making up the sets have never been in circulation and are in perfect condition. All the banknotes in a set have the same serial letters and numbers.
Numismatic sets of kuna and lipa circulation coins are issued every year. The coins issued in even years have the names of plants and animals inscribed in Latin on the reverse and those issued in odd years in Croatian. The coins from the set are identical in appearance to the coins released into circulation in the current year. The coins in numismatic sets are in brilliant uncirculated condition, sealed in a rectangular 166 x 111 mm hard plastic casing.
