"August Šenoa" gold collector coins and silver collector coin

The Croatian National Bank has issued "August Šenoa" gold collector coins and a silver collector coin as part of the Croatian Literature series of collector coins. The commemorative motifs on the coins feature the portrait and work of August Šenoa, one of the most influential Croatian writers of the 19th century, who is an important part of the cultural and historical heritage of the Republic of Croatia. The gold collector coins are issued in the 100 and 20 euro denominations and the silver collector coin is issued in the 4 euro denomination.

Gold collector coins denominated at 100 and 20 euro and the silver collector coin denominated at 4 euro are minted in brilliant uncirculated condition and are released for sale on 28 April 2026.

Decision on the issue of gold collector coins and a silver collector coin "August Šenoa" was published in the Official Gazette 39/2026.

The gold and silver coin designs are by the sculptor Duje Matetić.

The collector coins were minted and are sold by the Croatian Mint.
