CNB issues “Trsat Dragon” gold and silver numismatic coins

The Croatian National Bank issued “Trsat Dragon” gold and silver numismatic coins with commemorative motifs that represent the sculpture of the “Trsat Dragon” as part of the cultural heritage of the Republic of Croatia. The gold coin is issued in the 100 euro denomination and the silver coin is issued in the 4 euro denomination.

The author of the design of the gold and silver numismatic coin is Natalia Danysz. “Trsat Dragon” gold and silver numismatic coins are released for sale on 24 January 2024. The issued quantity of gold numismatic coins is limited at 100 pieces and the issued quantity of the silver numismatic coin at 5,000 pieces.

The gold collector coins will be sold by the Croatian Mint. The initial selling price of the gold numismatic coin is expected to range around EUR 2,350.00, and of the silver numismatic coin around EUR 40,00, not including VAT. The selling price at the time of purchase will depend on the movement in the price of gold and silver in the open market.
