IMF Mission visits Croatia

Eight-day stay of the IMF Mission in Croatia started by today's meeting at the Croatian National Bank. The Mission, consisting of five members, led by the new Mission Head for Croatia Dimitri Demekas, together with the IMF resident representative in Croatia John Norregaard, met with the CNB Governor, Dr Željko Rohatinski, and his associates. The Governor informed the Mission about the latest monetary developments and forecasts.

The Mission's discussions on the possibilities and conditions for further co-operation between the Republic of Croatia and the International Monetary Fund will continue with the representatives of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, Ministry of Finance and some other ministries, CBRD and several commercial banks, the Croatian Roads, the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute and a few other institutions.
