At its session today, the Croatian National Bank Council reviewed the latest monetary and economic developments, adopted the annual report of the central bank for 2007 and decided on three applications for authorisation to operate as savings banks and on appointments of management board members in two banks.
The CNB Council endorsed the proposal of the supervisory board of Međimurska banka d.d., Čakovec to re-appoint Nenad Jeđud as chairperson and Ljiljana Horvat as member of the management board of that bank and the proposal of the supervisory board of Centar banka d.d., Zagreb, to appoint Gordana Amančić as member of the management board of that bank.
Due to failure to meet the preconditions determined by law, the CNB Council refused the applications for authorisation to operate as savings banks to CBB štedna banka d.d., Varaždin, Euro-štednja štedne banke d.d., Osijek and Zagreb štedna banka d.d., Zagreb.
