In the attempt to improve the quality of the cash exchange service, from 15 April 2024, the Croatian National Bank will carry out all the activities of the exchange of the kuna to the euro at the new address: Ulica Nikole Jurišića 17, Zagreb. The business hours of the counters for the exchange of cash will be from Monday to Friday, from 8.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.
Please note that in addition to presenting cash for exchange by coming to the Croatian National Bank in person, any amount up to HRK 15,000.00 can also be submitted for exchange through postal services, at personal risk. In order to avoid any inconvenience for senders and for the Croatian National Bank, it is recommended that deliveries from abroad are to be sent as insured items in a registered letter, or presented in person at the seat of the Croatian National Bank.
