The Croatian National Bank issues the "Vučedol Culture" gold and silver collector coins with commemorative motifs featuring some of the elements of the Vučedol culture, which is considered the oldest European civilisation. The finds were excavated on the archaeological site of Vučedol near the City of Vukovar along the bank of the Danube. Vučedol is one of the most important Eneolithic sites and is an important part of the historical heritage of the Republic of Croatia and Europe. The gold collector coins are issued in the 100, 25 and 10 euro denominations and the silver collector coins are issued in the 6 and 4 euro denominations.
"Vučedol Culture" gold collector coins denominated at 25 and 10 euro and silver collector coins denominated at 6 and 4 euro are minted in brilliant uncirculated condition and the 100 euro gold collector coin is minted in proof quality. “Vučedol Culture” gold collector coins denominated at 100, 25 and 10 euro and silver collector coins denominated at 6 and 4 euro are released for sale on 21 May 2026.
