Conceptual design of the collector coins "Gajeta Falkuša"
The main motif of the conceptual design of the collector coins represents falkuša, a traditional fishing sailboat, a subtype of a fishing sailboat gajeta that used to be built in the town of Komiža on the island of Vis. For centuries, falkuša was the basis of the livelihood and life of the local fishermen's community. Therefore, it is an important part of the cultural, historical and economic heritage of the Republic of Croatia. The author is the sculptor Jelena Mavrić Varga.
